Thermostats

Smart thermostats

Wi-Fi thermostats from brands like Google Nest, ecobee and Honeywell Home let you adjust the temperature from your phone, learn your schedule, and send alerts when the system needs attention or a filter change. Many include monthly energy reports so you can see where your heating and cooling dollars go.

Compatibility matters

Heat pumps, two-stage equipment and zoned systems need a thermostat wired and configured for them. A mismatched thermostat can run backup heat constantly or short-cycle the system. We'll make sure the model you choose works fully with your equipment, and add a common wire if your system doesn't have one.

Thermostat repair

Blank screens, a system that won't turn on or off, or temperatures that don't match the setting can all be thermostat problems. We'll test it and the wiring before recommending a replacement.
